Introduction

As I said in the first Paper, William Shakespeare included some supernatural characters among the characters of his plays. He included them in the plays because he wanted people to have fun with his plays, and so his supernatural elements were gods, ghosts or fairies; being gods and fairies the most common in his comedies.

I talked about the supernatural elements in “A midsummer night’s dream”, which were fairies, they created the chaos between the human characters in the play, making the audience laugh and have fun, forgetting the reality of their lives.

In this Paper I’m going to talk about the supernatural elements in other plays by Shakespeare, not necessarily being fairies, but gods or other supernatural apparitions.
