Abstract:

William Shakespeare is one of the best theatre play writers of our times. He wrote most of his literature during the Elizabethan Age.

In this essay, I’m going to write about the topic of the supernatural elements but referring to all the comedy plays that Shakespeare wrote in which they appear . I make an introduction about some of the things about supernatural elements I learnt during the first Paper, and then I talk about the plays “The tempest” and other comedies.

I conclude writing my own opinion of Shakespeare works.

Title of the paper: “Politics and society in H.G Wells”

Abstract:

In the first Paper I wrote about the invasion literature and European politics related with H. G. Wells and the novels he wrote. I have written about that in the introduction.

Then I have related other novels by Wells with politics and society in the Victorian era. Wells believed in the possibility of society to change things and he explains it in novels as “The time machine” or “The Island of doctor Moreau”.

Finally I give my conclusion.

Author or topic: William Shakespeare

Abstract:

William Shakespeare is one of the best theatre play writers of our times. He wrote most of his literature during the Elizabethan Age.

In this essay, I chose his play A midsummer night’s dream because in it he introduced one of the most magical characters of his literature, elements that made his audience believe in goodness, in magic, and the most important, made them feel that even things could go wrong, there was always a way to fix them.

A midsummer night’s dream is a comedy, I conclude saying that is one of the most popular of his comedies and has been performed all around the world from the moment it was published.

Title of the paper: “Invasion Literature and European politics in H.G Wells’ The War of the Worlds”

Author or topic: H. G. Wells

Abstract:

I decided to write about H. G. Wells works, because he is one of the father’s of science fiction. I focused on “The war of the worlds” and so I wrote the introduction about it.

I have make resemblances and differences between the reality and the novel, I have linked the historic facts of that times, as the Battle of Dorking and I have also written about the society in which Wells lived. I focused on comparing “The war of the worlds” to his book “The salvaging of civilisation”.

In my conclusion I have given my point of view referring to Wells and his advanced view for the times he lived in.
